8- LED light fixtures were installed on 1-20-2007 to replace 8 - 400 Metal Halide fixtures. Watt hour meters were installed to track the usage.
One meter was installed to track 4- 400 Watt metal halide fixtures on the gas canopy and the other meter was installed to track the usage of the four HTS-6 LED fixtures. 10 months have passed.
The results are as follows:

64 LED's cost $113.28 per month or $1359.36 per year. |
The system would pay for itself in 2.7 years.
With a 100% usable life span of 11.6 years.
This is assuming the electric rates do not change and we are not calculating any depreciation.
