Manufacturer of Solid State LED Lights

BARE DEVELOPMENT, INC. Manufacturers retrofit light kits for many applications including parking lot lighting and canopy lighting for service stations. Our unique solid state design allows total flexibility in accommodating many types of outdoor fixtures.

The solid state light board is a direct replacement component for 70w to 400w metal halide and mercury vapor bulbs commonly found in parking lots, car dealerships and service stations. It uses just 88w of electricity to produce this output.

Based on an outdoor light standard of 12 hours a day, the average full output lifespan is 50,000 hours or 11.4 years with the only maintenance being an occasional lens cleaning!

How many more years will you continue to pay high costs to light your station or parking lot before you make the change to solid state lighting!

For the last 40 years or so the outdoor lighting of choice has been HID, mainly Mercury Vapor or Metal Halide. These types of fixtures use huge amounts of energy to light a station or parking lot at its least profitable time of operation, not only that but they are expensive to maintain as well. With increased labor and fuel costs it can cost upward of $150.00 to $200.00 to change just one bulb, multiply that by an average station having 24 canopy lights and a hand full of parking lot lights not to mention constantly rising energy costs and you quickly realize how expensive these lights are to own. Over the last several years the increased concern of dumping hazardous Mercury in our landfills has made these types of bulbs very hard to get rid of after their life. Bare Development, Inc. created their solid state lighting to contain no harmful Mercury or PCB’s and will also make recycling their product easy for you.

The modern service station has evolved from a simple gas station with a few service bays to the sophisticated mini mart convenience stores we have today. These high tech stations have state of the art POS systems, car washes and high end coffee and fast food as profit centers. Every square foot of a new station is planned for maximum profit, except the lighting.

In some areas these service stations are requiring back up power to keep stations pumping gas in the event of an evacuation, and power failure, just to keep the lights on would require the use and maintenance of a huge generator for an event that may or may not happen.

SOLID STATE lighting is the answer to all of these problems, with the recent advances in LED technology the super bright white LED available today can cut lighting bills by as much as 80% while keeping maintenance down to near zero.

CASE STUDY EXAMPLE OF SAVINGS DONE BY THE MANUFACTURER

Gas City Light Test

8-LED light fixtures were installed on January 27, 2007 to replace 8-400 watt Metal Halide fixtures. A watt hour meter was installed to track the usage.

One meter was installed to track 4-400 watt metal halide bulbs on the gas canopy and the other meter was installed to track the usage of the four LED fixtures.

After 10 months, the results were as follows:

4-400 Watt Metal Halides

6610 KWH

6610 x .12 = $793.20 USD

Electrical rates are calculated on a national average of .12 per KWH

Each 400 Watt Metal Halide cost $19.83 USD per month to operate.

64 Fixtures cost $1269.12 USD per month or $15, 229.44 per year.

Installation of 64 LED’s is $36,800 USD. Based on the above fixtures:

The system would pay for itself in 2.7 years. With a 100% usable life span of 11.6 years. The system would generate $118, 454.01 in Revenue.

This is assuming the electric rates do not change and we are not calculating any depreciation.
